- I currently teach Grades 7-8 at Perrysburg Junior High School -
In my time at Bowling Green State University I have completed a variety of educational field placements at the K-12 level. In these placements I gained hands on teaching experience, and put together a series of lessons that I implemented in various classrooms. Each placement helped me learn about a different age group, about different cultural backgrounds and socioeconomic impacts that all students bring with them to school. Teaching is not a cake walk - those who "can't" don't resort to teaching. Being a teacher comes with great responsibilities, but there's nothing that gives me more joy than helping students develop a passion for art, the way my teachers helped me.
